Ways You Can Help

The Dayton Chapter of A Special Wish is always looking for ways of getting the Miami Valley community involved in granting wishes.

Some opportunities include:

• SWAT: Special Wish Airport Team is the greeters who meet and greet our Wish families as they depart and arrive back to the Dayton airport.
• Special Projects: Help with special projects like mailings, database input/management and family contacts.
• Office Assistants: Coordinate a variety of in-office and clerical projects.
• Special Events: Assist at fund-raising events, golf outings, holiday parties and other events held on behalf of our Wish children.

Community and Professional Organizations, Schools and Churches

From golf outings to penny-jar races, hundreds of local groups have already made a commitment to helping a Wish child. Schools have held car washes, scout troops offer carnivals, community groups sponsor pancake breakfasts and corporations sponsor Wish children through annual event sponsorship.
